14 Lessons for 2014

1. New year is a new beginning. So don't waste another year doing the same old routine of yours. Change for the better as the year changes and be willing to explore things out of your comfort zone.

2. Always be considerate of others. Think not only of yourself.

3. Congratulate yourself for a job well done but never stop opening a room for improvement.

4. Take a dip into the sea once in a while. It isn't bad to spend some time with mother nature. Go out with friends or family. It helps you relax from a stressful load of work.

5. Set a goal for yourself and aim for it.

6. Rainy days will come and you cannot stop it. Just enjoy the shower.

7. Patience is one important trait. We're only human and it will always come to the point that we will lose our patience. But remember, we can always extend it.

8. Don't lose your passion just because they do not notice your exemplary contribution. Passion makes thing easier.

9. Value the people who love you. Love the people who don't like you.

10. Focus on what you should do, not on what you should have done. You cannot turn back the hand of time.

11. People will always change. So do you. And you should keep that in mind.

12. Nothing's wrong in saying NO. Just choose wisely who, and what, you turn your back to.

13. You can keep it to yourself but sometimes you need to shout it out loud in order for them to know how you feel. You can't make them guess all the time. Not everyone will ask you anyway.

14. Most of all, love the people around you. But remember to always leave something for yourself. They will give you importance when you show them how you give importance to yourself. After all, you are your no. 1 fan.
