Yolanda at 1

Before anything else, kindly read this: a touching story from a Yolanda survivor.

Just like Ondoy, who could ever forget how a not-so-friendly-Yolanda came and left the country ravaged by her strong winds? Thousands of home, hundreds of families and countless people were lost in just a day in the southern part of the country due to the super typhoon. It's been a year now, since then. As people from Tacloban and Leyte remembers the chaotic event, we are still in hope and prayers that they have recovered from the incident.

It's been a year today. Though there's still a lot that needs for improvement to fully recover from the super typhoon, at least we can now see smiles from the people affected by the chaos. Slowly but surely, we will rise again.

Meanwhile, here's the Yolanda music video you must watch:

True enough, we have been seriously damaged by Yolanda, but no storm can ever break the Filipino people. We will rise again. Definitely. Despite every issue, despite the differences, despite the distance. with all the hopes and prayers, and of course, your donations, we will rise again.

Yolanda was just one of the strongest obstacle we have to pass. Slowly but sure, we are coping with it. As they say, 'Pinoy pa ba?'
