So, this is Christmas!
Countdown's over! Cool wind breeze, christmas carols, parties, family gatherings, gift giving, simbang gabi, bibingka and puto bumbong. Indeed, it's christmas time!
My favorite time of the year, it's when the whole family will gather to celebrate all together the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It's also when friends will be reunited and when godchildren will pay respect to their ninongs and ninangs.
In Filipino tradition, families gather around for Noche Buena as we welcome the day the Lord was born. Next to that is gift giving. I just wish we could do that again, now that most of my siblings were working abroad.
Anyway, it's not time for any drama. This day is all about the Lord, it's his birthday!
